A fabulous, chillaxin stay at Rixos, Gocek.. We had a 2 weeks stay October 2025 and it really was delightful. Never been to Gocek, never been to Turkey before so was a little apprehensive. No need, from check in, a seat on the sofa and a couple of G&T’s, an explanation of the hotel’s grounds and amenities, to a buggy ridden to our apartment. We asked for a ground floor, quiet, end room, which indeed we were allocated. The Lumin app is very handy and always answered promptly and professionally. The rooms are lovely from a re-stocked minibar everyday, crisps and coffee pods. The bathroom is quite luxurious but I felt the towels could do with being replaced now. Beds were comfortable and changed daily. We had a small terrace which would have been great with a couple of sunbeds so we could relax and sun bath at our room.
The pool was lovely, but as at every hotel you go to towels were being put down early in the morning and then not being used for hours, not sure what the answer is to this issue. It wasn’t a major problem as we visited late in the season. The pool team were fab, as soon as the bar opened a different concoction was offered every day. Haken would ask me “a Jenny cocktail - nice and a Bob cocktail (a bottle of beer)”.
The beach - it’s man made and reminded me of our golf bunkers at home! It’s very narrow and far too many sunbeds crammed next to each other. The staff work very hard to service everyone and the boat trip to and from the beach is fun. Was not for us but many guests did enjoy using it.
The food - Breakfast is fine, buffet and self service. We are not a lover of buffet food for evening as we like to order and be served. The only options were People’s, which we were told could only be frequented 3 times per week. We did eat here most nights, but I guess that was due to being end of season and not that busy, could see it being enforced during high season. There are also Italian, Fish and Japanese restaurants , all with an additional charge. There is a patisserie and a Starbucks on-site. Ice cream and water fridges are located by the pool for you to help yourself. The only issue we had was in the fish restaurant, admittedly there were only 5 tables booked, we had to ask for a drink, cutlery, extra bread etc. One of the guest relations spoke to us and said we should be drinking Raki with the fish, we said we hadn’t been asked.
The staff are most helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I was a little concerned at the hours some of the staff were working, they seemed to be there from early morning to late at night. I know you can enjoy your job but you all need rest and a break away from the workplace.
It’s all useful, and appreciated, to learn a few words in Turkish, even though the pronunciation can be difficult.
I know it’s AI but please take Turkish Lira for tipping, a few pounds to us means such a lot to the staff.
Would I go back - you bet I would, loved it.
Thank you Rixos. .

Superb 4th visit. We have just returned from our 4th trip to this wonderful hotel. We arrived on my birthday quite late and were able to have a very decent meal around midnight in Peoples restaurant before going to bed.
Check in felt very rushed this time- perhaps the staff thinking we would want to get to our room asap - which we did but the Lumin app was installed on my phone and briefly explained.
We went back to reception the next day to ask about a few things - for example how many times we could Peoples restaurant in the evening but we didnt get a clear answer on this. it didnt matter really though as the staff said we could eat there really any time we liked. The manager of Peoples is a really helpful and kind guy too.
The Lumin app works very well and is easy to navigate- I was always answered quickly and professionally and nothing was too much trouble.
We booked the same room type as last year but noticed immediately it was a bit narrower- it was on the end of the block- as we couldn't fit our wheel chair past it so had to leave it near the door.
The hotel also very kindly sent a bottle of bubbles and a delicious cake for my birthday which was a lovely thought.
The room was perfectly clean and modern as always but neither of is enjoyed being so close to the pool and music area so we were able to change rooms efficiently and without any hassle.
All the staff at the hotel were at their usual impeccable standard -they really cant do enough for the guests. They always have time for a quick chat and a smile and are so helpful with everything.
Food and drink were excellent -infact the cocktails were the best we've ever had there.
Secret beach continues to be the jewel in the crown and sitting in the Azur restaurant for lunch really offers the best views in the whole resort.
We have to mention Maher who is simply the most helpful, professional and caring member of staff we have ever met at any hotel -he really is the best and always had time to chat, check we were enjoying ourselves, explain something and generally take our stay to another level. He is just brilliant. He really did enhance our whole holiday experience.
So we're home and thinking about our trips to Turkey next year- thank you RPG and the whole team. .

GONE DOWN HILL. My wife and I returned to the Rixos Göcek having been there the same time last year .A lot has happened in a year there was a lot of new staff all over that didn’t know what they were doing, they had done nothing to the place in the time it closes down
Even when we were leaving we were not approached and asked had we had a good time even though we waited in reception for half an hour for coach to pick us up
Can commend the waiters on the beach that don’t stop all day ,it’s strange that you have to leave the resort to find the best staff
Food was good in all the restaurants especially the restaurant at the beach was great
Found the barman at the pool bar was pig ignorant he just ignored you as if you didn’t exist ,on the last night we was sat out watching the show to witch we tried to order drinks after an hour of trying we eventually got served only to be given a bottle of beer with no glass I then managed to mention this to the bar manager to which he then sent the girl back with a glass 15 minutes later .Can’t get my head around this being a 5 star resort and they give drinks out without glasses would I recommend this place No I had done the year before but not know it has to pull its socks up a lot to get to where they was the year before. .

Staff extremely friendly and attentive.
Rooms clean and well equipped, maybe a little dated. Comfortable bed, very quiet surroundings.. .

Second visit - would definitely return!. We spent a week at the Rixos Premium Gocek in November 2025, after our original stay in May/June 2024.
The hotel lived up to the same great expectations that led us back here for our second visit. I have stayed at other 5* resorts in Mexico, Egypt and Cape Verde and this is by far the best.
Staff:
Professional, friendly and attentive throughout the entire hotel, exactly what a 5* hotel should be. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The hotel itself:
The grounds were clean and immaculately presented. All communal areas were the same. Exactly the high standards we experienced in 2024.
Rooms
Great cleaning staff - our rooms were always cleaned extremely well, amenities replenished daily. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept incredibly well (better than we do at home). I forgot how great the rain showers are!
Food
Great food, plenty of variety, and the a la carte restaurants are well worth a visit. Will miss the huge varieties of salads and grilled meats.
Boat trip
The complementary boat trip is well worth the time investment. We went in 2024 and again this time. Plenty of stops for swimming, and lunch is included.
Improvement opportunities:
If we could give some feedback on minor improvements:
1) the music around the pool could be more varied. We listened to the same playlist every day. This was just our preference and it wouldn’t stop us from visiting again.
2) The lack of spoons in the buffet restaurant. As there are no spoons on tables, we would expect to see them available in the locations where spoons are needed (I.e., next to dessert). We had to visit the ice cream station to find a spoon for our tiramisu. Again, this wouldn’t stop us from visiting again, just some feedback that may help the flow of the restaurant.
3) We were approached often for feedback. This is great as the hotel genuinely want to seek out feedback to improve. However, we were approached by 4 different people in the space of 1 hour on our final day while we were trying to eat / play a board game. Putting feedback boxes / QR codes around the hotel might be an additional way to capture feedback? We did not receive so many questions last year.
Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back.. .

Cannot wait to go back - we love it.. This was our fourth time to the Rixos Gocek and it will not be our last. The 13+ concept works very well for us and our teenage son.
The grounds are beautifully tended and the hotel’s setting, in the bay, with the marina, landscape, islands and private beach (accessed by free and frequent hotel launches) is just stunning.
The hotel staff work very hard to ensure the needs of all guests are met and in particular Mr Maher as Guest Operations is an attentive, professional and dedicated host. My husband has had several back operations and Mr Maher, acutely aware of guests needs, has always endeavoured to assist with our accommodation. The staff are amazing, but it is not an understatement to say that Mr Maher had made the Rixos experience for us.
The restaurants cater for many tastes and the food is exquisitely fresh and well prepared.
The two pools, one of which is sea water are both extremely clean and well managed.
The private beach has its own bar restaurant and is simply a hidden gem. The private launches from the hotel grounds make you feel like a celebrity.
With premium drinks as part of the all inclusive concept and skilled staff making any cocktail of your choice, you cannot want for anything more.
Gocek is a ten minute walk along the water’s edge and is a pristine small village with a host of amazing restaurants and bars should one venture from the hotel.
We will be back in the spring.. .

Wow - beautiful location, wonderful hotel, looking forward to visiting again in the future.. Wonderful holiday in this beautiful hotel.
Our room was in block 18 and was huge, massive bathroom, huge bed and separate tv area with a sofa, very clean. Nice toiletries provided in the shower. Mini bar was topped up every day.
We had fresh omelette from the turquoise restaurant in the morning which were great. We didn’t find the rest of the hot breakfast food great but that may just be our taste! Starbucks was great and Deniz was always very friendly whilst making my morning flat white - thank you! We didn’t really enjoy turquoise buffet in the evening so only used it once, the people’s à la carte was a great option which we used other times. Great food and service there.
Both the pool and secret beach were great for the day time and we were very well looked after by the waiters at both locations. Branded drinks in all of the bars including 3 x different bottled beers was really appreciated. Lovely cocktails.
The free boat trip was a lovely experience and I would definitely do it I visited again.
The best endorsement I can give to the hotel is that since we have been here, my wife has subsequently booked to visit the hotel with her mum in April.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday, look forward to coming again in the future!. .

Definitely return 👍. Just back from 7 nights in this wonderful hotel , I was a tad concerned when I read some of the reviews , however that soon disappeared when we arrived .
Yes the weather was a bit mixed , and the mosquitoes a tad annoying , most folks seemed to have a few bites , but if you put on anti midge spray then all good .
The food was first class especially the turquoise restaurant which was a buffet but for us it was excellent 👏👏 we did use the people’s at lunch time , again first class , staff were brilliant in both places . The restaurant at the secret beach was definitely the best and an amazing experience , loved the wee sea taxi which took you over .
The cocktails were amazing , and the best I’ve had when on holiday , Special call out to Haken at the poolside who walked around tirelessly serving everyone drinks 👏👏.
Also special call out to Maher, guest relations manager who was such a nice genuine chap , always checking that we were happy .
The rooms were amazing and cleaned to such a high standard , honestly a fab experience, we will definitely return , probably go a bit earlier as understandably weather can be a bit of a hit or miss at that time of year .
So if you’re planning to go then then you’ll love it !,. .
